Pearl Izumi P.R.O. MTB II Shoes - 2011/2012

Pearl Izumi has made a statement with these P.R.O. MTB II Shoes. Our first response from customers are that this shoe definitely fits the bill as a "PRO" shoe.

It has an impeccable fit with concave shaping for enhanced plate stiffness and anatomic support; built in Longitudinal Arch Support for optimal support, power, and efficiency, and an easy to use (anatomical) buckle system (which the customers highly favor).

Another noticeable and benefiting detail is the heel cup which incorporates an external Carbon Power Band for maximum heel hold and power. Stabilizing the heal is crucial for pedal efficiency in climbing any grade of terrain.

Lastly, keeping the feet cool and comfortable is the Direct-Vent technology upper. Doubling its efficiency is a pair of our shop socks by SockGuy. These SGX socks incorporate compression into the weave of the material saving the ankles and feet from swelling of feet during intense rides.
